Join the Mass Email Campaign this May 9 @ 5:00PM

On Friday, May 9 at 5:00PM, MCGI Exiters Community will be launching a mass email campaign to COMELEC demanding a formal investigation into MCGI’s political operations in support of BH Partylist.

Here’s what we already know:

  • MCGI leaders are mobilizing their members for BH campaign activities.

  • UNTV-labeled vehicles are being used to transport campaign materials and people.

  • Church halls are being used as rally venues.

  • BH candidates are promising pork allocations exclusively to MCGI followers.

Need proof?

Watch this video of Kap. Rudy Medina delivering a speech during an MCGI-hosted event, promising “lahat ng para sa atin kukunin ko, ibibigay ko sa inyo” in clear exchange for electoral support: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1S3nSVhBT4/?mibextid=wwXIfr

WHAT TO DO:

At exactly 5:00 PM on May 9, send this email:

BCC:

Subject: Request for Legal Clarification and Investigation on MCGI’s Involvement in BH Partylist Campaign Activities

Email Body:

Dear COMELEC Legal Department,

I am writing as a concerned citizen to formally request legal clarity—and if warranted, an investigation—regarding the ongoing and publicly documented political involvement of the religious group Members Church of God International (MCGI) in the campaign operations of the Bagong Henerasyon (BH) Partylist, particularly involving candidate Kap. Rudy Medina as seen on this Facebook post https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1S3nSVhBT4/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Reports and testimonies indicate that MCGI has mobilized its members, facilities, and even UNTV vehicles for BH’s campaign purposes. These include:

– BH rallies held on MCGI premises

– Transport of volunteers using UNTV-labeled vans

– Endorsements during church events with promises of exclusive benefits

These acts may violate provisions under the Fair Elections Act (RA 9006), COMELEC Resolution No. 10488, and Section 261 of the Omnibus Election Code, which prohibit the use of religious influence and media facilities for partisan campaigning.

I respectfully ask the Commission to investigate this alliance, assess whether violations have been committed, and take appropriate action to preserve electoral fairness and institutional integrity.

Thank you for your service and commitment to clean elections.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]
