In traditional movements, strength is often measured by number of bodies in the streets or actual votes on elections. But in information warfare where narratives, research, and strategy shape public perception, division can be a feature not a bug.

The Flawed Idea of Unity

Though we may have a shared enemy, let us acknowledge that our beliefs, ideas, and vision differ. Some seek clout, others chaos, and too few are focused on strategic, systemic dismantling.

Attempts to force unity have only led to:

To protect our clarity of mission and prevent factional contamination, MCGI Exiters is unilaterally encouraging supporters to build a digital firewall against high-profile exiter accounts and factions that:

• Perpetuate drama and infighting

• Exploit trauma narratives for clout or monetization

• Undermine strategic focus with misaligned messaging

• Mirror the cult’s toxic behavioral patterns

From this day forward, all mentions and promotions of toxic exiter content and the influencers responsible will be filtered or blocked in our Reddit sub-community and news site.

This is digital hygiene not censorship. It’s part of the recovery process. And it’s backed by science.

A 2023 study titled “Trauma-Informed Social Media: Towards Solutions for Reducing and Healing Online Harm” (Scott et al.) affirms that blocking, muting, and filtering are legitimate and essential tools for survivors of high-control environments.
