NEXT CHAPTER: Groundbreaking Podcast Charts the Path Beyond MCGI, Calls for United Front

May 12, 2025

The inaugural episode of Next Chapter: A Journey Beyond MCGI aired this week to a wave of support from the MCGI Exiters community, opening up powerful conversations on life after leaving MCGI further reinforcing our theory and vision on a A Post-MCGI World.

Hosted by Logix (formerly Dark Knight) and Eleos (formerly Lost) of Broccoli TV and Friends and Lost and the Dark Night Podcast, the show dives into what healing, faith, and freedom can look like beyond the walls of MCGI.

“This isn’t just about leaving MCGI,” said Logix during the episode. “It’s about choosing not to live in fear, and finding meaning on your own terms.” Eleos added, “We must uphold moral values but not through coercion, guilt, or blind obedience.”

The star-studded premiere featured key figures from the growing MCGI Exiters movement, including Badong, CJ Perez, Jan Michael Lachica, Kuya Adel, and Bro. Willy Santiago. Each guest brought insight, critique, and solidarity shedding light on how doctrinal abuse, financial exploitation, and spiritual gaslighting have long been normalized in groups like MCGI.

One of the central themes: the urgent need for a united front. Despite theological and ideological differences, the guests called on all factions of ex-members to work together toward their shared goal ending systemic abuse and enabling recovery. “Our strength is in our solidarity,” said CJ Perez.

“Let’s stop tearing each other down and focus on dismantling what truly harms.”
