Kuya Daniel Razon Napahiya: Police Escort Request Ibinasura ng NCRPO

Isang closet exiter mula sa loob ng inner circle ni Kuya Daniel Razon ang nagbunyag na nagkaroon ng kahilingan para sa police escort sa tuwing daraan ito sa EDSA. Ayon kay JR Badong, dating MCGI Worker at close aide ng pamilyang Razon, ang request ay ipinadaan sa pamamagitan ni MCGI KNP Danny Navales.


Itinuturing itong malinaw na pagpapakita ng pang-aabuso sa kapangyarihan at pabor-paboran, lalo na’t kilala si Kuya Daniel sa pagbibigay ng malalaking donasyon sa PNP. Binansagan itong anyo ng korapsyon at pagtatangkang gumamit ng impluwensiya kapalit ng pabor mula sa pamahalaan.

Sa kabila ng pagkakaroon ni Razon ng sarili niyang close-in security mula sa MCGI, iginiit pa rin umano nito ang dagdag na proteksiyon mula sa kapulisan, isang bagay na nakikitang hindi lamang pag-aaksaya ng pondo at manpower ng gobyerno, kundi malinaw na pang-aabuso sa koneksiyon sa awtoridad.


Ngunit agad na ibinasura ng NCRPO Chief PMGen Anthony Aberin ang kahilingan ni Navales.


Nang magmungkahi si Navales na iaakyat na lamang ang request sa “nakakataas,” mabilis itong tinugon ni Aberin ng, “Ako na po ang nakakataas.”


Ang pagtangging ito ay malinaw na pahiwatig. Hindi lahat ng nakasanayang “VIP treatment” ay tatagal habambuhay. Ang matagal nang ginagawang pabor-pabor sa likod ng donasyon ay tila nauuntog na sa pader ng bagong pamunuan ng pulisya.

Nakakatawa at nakakalungkot na ang isang taong may sariling batalyon ng private security ay nagkakandarapa pa ring makasingit sa linya ng mga pulis na dapat ay nakalaan para sa sambayanan. Para bang hindi sapat ang milyong pisong theme park, mansyon, at personal na guard detail, kailangan pa ring iparada ang ilusyon ng kapangyarihan sa EDSA. Kung hindi ito tinanggihan, baka bukas pati traffic enforcer at barangay tanod hingin na ring gawing bodyguard.


Sa huli, ang mas masakit para kay Kuya Daniel ay hindi lamang ang pagtanggi ng PNP, kundi ang mismong pagbubunyag mula sa loob ng kanyang sariling circle na tila sawa na rin sa ilusyon at circus ng “power at influence.”
