What happens when an investment scammer, a cult-linked church worker, and a recycled billionaire nominee team up? You get Bagong Henerasyon Partylist (BH), a political vehicle now at the center of one of the most audacious electoral infiltration schemes in recent memory.
This article unmasks how Soliman “Dexter” Villamin Jr., Crisanto “King” Cortez, and Roberto Gerard Nazal Jr. conspired across partylists, corporate backchannels, and religious networks to abuse the very system meant to uplift the poor. At the heart of this political magic trick is a name you may have forgotten but shouldn't--Dexter Villamin, the man behind DV Boer Farm and a brother of Ulysses Villamin, the personal nurse of the late Bro. Eli Soriano, founder of the Members Church of God International (MCGI).

Act I: The DV Boer Mirage
DV Boer rose to prominence with its “Pa-iwi” livestock co-raising program, which promised double-digit returns to thousands of hopeful OFWs. Instead, investors were met with radio silence, no returns, and a cease and desist order from the SEC for soliciting investments illegally (1). Its founder Dexter Villamin, funneled money and influence into the political arena, targeting the Magsasaka Partylist, a group supposedly representing farmers.
But Villamin was no stranger to MCGI. As a sibling of Bro. Eli Soriano’s nurse, his proximity to MCGI's inner circle helped blur the lines between faith, fraud, and finance.
Act II: Infiltrating Magsasaka – With Help from a Church Worker
In 2022, Villamin, along with Crisanto “King” Cortez, an MCGI church worker submitted a revised nomination list to the Commission on Elections. Cortez was listed first, Villamin second, and Roberto Nazal Jr. fourth (2). Thanks to staged resignations, Nazal quickly entered Congress, despite lacking any ties to the agriculture sector.

This move would later be invalidated by the Supreme Court in 2024, which ruled that Nazal had no legal right to represent Magsasaka Partylist (3).
Act III: From Disqualified to Recycled – Welcome to BH
After being thrown out of Magsasaka, Nazal re-emerged under BH Partylist in 2025, now propped up by a broader coalition including corporate backers, religious operators, and a media empire.
Among them was Kap. Rudy Medina, CEO of Medical Depot and a loyal MCGI member, who served as a financial and logistical conduit for Nazal’s BH campaign. Sources within the movement confirm that Daniel Razon, MCGI’s current leader and UNTV CEO, soft-endorsed BH and Nazal behind the scenes, using Medina as a proxy (4).
This arrangement likely violated the Omnibus Election Code, particularly Sections 261(i) and 261(o), which bar religious entities and private corporations from intervening in electoral campaigns (5).
COMELEC Reacts
On May 22, 2025, COMELEC suspended the proclamation of BH and Duterte Youth, citing unresolved disqualification cases. BH was explicitly flagged for fielding Nazal, a previously disqualified nominee, and leveraging unauthorized religious and corporate campaign support (6).
A Syndicate, Not a Partylist
This is no longer about representation. This is about a religious-political syndicate, laundering influence through partylists. DV Boer’s fraud funded the power grab. MCGI’s network provided the field machinery. Nazal brought the billionaire face. And BH became their vessel.
The connection between Villamin and the late Bro. Eli's household via Ulysses Villamin shows how deeply these relationships run. What once was a family of service has morphed into a machinery of exploitation cloaked in charity and righteousness.
Religious Capitalism Weaponized
This isn’t a political comeback. It’s a hostile takeover of democracy, enabled by the failure of institutions to draw the line between faith-based service and faith-based opportunism.
BH doesn’t stand for “Bagong Henerasyon.” It stands for Bilyonaryong Hokus Pokus, and the magic trick only works if we stop paying attention.
